Registered Psychologist

I work with children, adolescents and adults with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and the impact of trauma. I have a special interest in parenting, and supporting parents in becoming the best parents they can be.

Parenting can often be difficult when your own childhood was less than ideal, and often we need help to understand how our own experiences can play out in our relationship with our children.

I use a variety of trauma based psychological approaches that are tailored to meet your indivitual needs, helping you move towards overcoming trauma, anxiety, depression and related issues.

I am a trained facilitator of several trauma sensitive relationship-based parenting programs, I also have an interest in sensory integration programs with children who may have difficulties with areas such as in social thinking.

I graduated with a BA Hons in Psychology in 1999 from Liverpool University in the UK. After moving to Australia, I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and have been a Registered Psychologist since 2008.

I have over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents and adults who have a ‘lived experiences’ of trauma, violence and abuse.

I also provide professional supervision and debriefing.
