I work with adults with a range of emotional, psychological or mental health or disability issues. One of my areas of special interest is working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, and women and children impacted by domestic violence, veterans and anyone impacted by trauma or PTSD.

I work with children, with emotional or behavioural issues, and those in foster care and out of home care who are impacted by childhood abuse and struggling with emotional regulation and challenging behaviours.

I also have a special interest in working with youth and the challenges that they can face including depression, suicide, self-harm, self-esteem and relationship issues.

I have full registration to support those under work cover claims and additionally have full registration to work with NDIS clients to provide therapeutic intervention, behaviour support plans development and early childhood intervention.

I have completed my full Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) training and use this as well as a number of trauma based psychological interventions such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness based approaches.

My therapeutic approach is one of warmth, compassion and respect, which is tailored to the needs of each individual and their situation. I see my role as a facilitator of change, working together with people to strive towards continual personal growth and development.

I am a fully registered Psychologist with years of experience working with children, young people and adults across a diverse range of public and private health settings. I have worked mainly in the area of complex or developmental trauma.

You will be able to claim the Medicare Rebate if you have been referred by your GP under a Mental Health Care Plan or on an EPC Care Plan.
